Greg, as it appears from the attitudes and actions of 99.99% of the people around me, you are dead wrong!
My family members, spouse, her family, my neighbors, their families, local city government, local radio station personalities, people at the store....everything is fine, there is no interest in alarmist language, talk of recession etc. There is a football game this weekend, and a baseball game coming up, we have a town arts walk soon, and looking forward to fall festivities, the stock market is doing well, all the government workers and government pensioners around me are doing just fine...no concern, no interest.
Collectively they all say "Greg Mannarino is wrong, he knows nothing, we don't want to hear financial gobbly-gook, too confusing", and also "They won't let things get that bad, someone is in charge and will step in to save things."
The apathy and false sense of security that surrounds me is bewildering.
