Lions. So far this year I am currently just over 12% in the red with my holdings of JPM, GS, and BAC. For me these are core holdings, VERY LONG TERM, which pay a nice quarterly dividend.
More or less, these banks have tracked the performance of the SP500 year to date. I have every intention to continue to hold these positions moving forward, and buy more shares. Would I like to own shares at a lower price? Absolutely I would.
Just a heads up.
GM
I've been averaging down big time on these. JPM on sale today since it came out that they're the largest counterparty for that chinese madman shorting nickel on the LME. I don't see this being a huge problem for the bank, buying a bit more today.
The definition of a core holding is a short-term trade that went against you.
