It would seem by now that people would wise up to these scammers but as PT Barnum said, there’s a fool born every second. And one comes by every minute.

This happens a great deal on You Tube & Rumble where it appears the content creator is responding to comments made by subscribers where a phone number is provided. Looks legit until you see it a number of times and no way they would have the time to receive all those calls.

I often remind the scammer that they are obvious, and going to be unsuccessful. I also remind them that they will not get a second rice ration this week.

On You Tube I report them.

Me too. The threads are so obvious when they start. "In times like these I'm happy to be making 2800$ a day on my one penny investment", etc. Then you wait for the name drop.

Then one quick message to say that "Ms. (insert name here)" also works nearby corners for money. Then report as many possible comments as scam, irreversible bowel damage, threats with medieval weapon, or whatever...

Thank you so much for the warning. Yes, the same thing happened to Economic Ninja--and they used AI to simulate Ninja's voice on the phone! Ninja felt awful and made the same warning to his viewers.
