I have posted several lists of ETF’s (exchange traded funds) which will give you exposure to commodities. You could certainly buy physical gold and silver, but for those of you looking for more, here are 6 ETF’s you may want to look at. There are more, many more, and I have listed these as well in the past.
With each of these, be sure to look at the fund carefully. NEVER invest in anything without understanding what you are doing, why you are doing it, and understand the risk.

Commented earlier. ETFs are not the real thing. They are a speculative play on the futures markets (derivatives). If a sponsor of and ETF decides to close it, you get nothing. At least recognize that you are playing a speculation game. If you want the real thing, buy the real thing. Futures contracts have been cash settlement only for a long time.
