I am looking to execute my first ever option trade based on this recommendation. I am using TD Ameritrade’s web page. There are several boxes that I don’t know how to fill out. Is There a walk-through anywhere to assist?
I know greg likes DAL, but I think his other picks of FB and MSFT may be safer and more encouraging for you. DAL I bought when he said it and it is down big. I have faith but have been in the ring many times. Please try another pick first, we don't want you to be down on DAL and get discouraged. Again, I think DAL will go up, Greg knows something.....
from Delta page, click "buy", next to stock, click "options". click "chain" to view option dates and prices. find 1/15 at $30 and click on "ask" price. go back to screen and click how many contracts you want and "buy to open". for price "last" or "ask".
Is $1,13 commission per trade too high? Any suggestions on an app with lower commission rates? Thx
TD Ameritrade is 65 cents I think
Who's your broker? You can usually negotiate with them especially if you trade frequently.
I didn't buy DAL earlier but did go in today and I'm up 18%. Good call.

Perfect. That helped tremendously. Thank you.
i really recommend going under the education tab and watching the tutorials for options.
Specifically the Action, price, order type.
