Lions and friends.
For the many of you who have asked, yes! I still have my 1969 Camaro drag car along with my Barracuda.
I am still working on getting the Camaro dialed in. It ran a best quarter mile time so far of 11.02 seconds, but I am certain that I can get the car to turn a 10.90 without much work. Over the last few weeks I have upgraded the valve train and will be swapping out the headers for a larger tube tuned set.
I am planning on running the Camaro on the 27th here in Las Vegas at “The Strip.” I will also be entering a Bracket Drag competition that same weekend.
Below are some pictures of the Camaro and two of the Barracuda.
Which of these two cars is your favorite? 1969 Camaro or 1968 Barracuda?
Wow Greg is that really one of Ronnie Sox's barracudas or a replica? I do like the Camaro better but Sox and Martin are legends. Kinda shows how old I am, 68, but what the heck, drag racing gets in your blood. Hoping you break 11 by a good margin next time.
Very cool, my plan as well. I have a 64 Ford f100 528bb Ford twin 76mm turbo. A project I built , ground up myself, over the last 10 years. It’s finally done and hits the chassis dyno in Feb. it won’t let me attach a pic here, but I’m pretty proud of it.
Your stable of cars is pretty respectable. Maybe someday we can line em up for and ounce of silver…lol
