I need help with this one! Will somebody out here PLEASE explain this to me?

I have a question and I am hoping some of you will help me understand...

So, The US is sending an entire Carrier Strike Group to the Eastern Mediterranean to help defend Israel.

Here is my question.

How is it that we have LITERALLY ENDLESS MONEY FOR MORE WAR, but not enough money to fund the government? As you all know, they just kicked the can down the road AGAIN... someone, PLEASE help me understand how that works. Endless money for war, but they can't fund the government? I just don't understand... explain this to me as if I were a young child, or a Golden Retriever.
