I hate to say the market is “due” for anything, but… the market is kinda due for a corrective phase.
As we all know, this is not a market.
In a real real market, you have buyers and sellers who attempt to establish a fair value for a particular asset/company/ETF, etc.
But what we have now is central banks/the Federal Reserve, acting as a third party in these transactions by constantly manipulating debt/liquidity/credit (all the same thing).
This action acting as a third party by central banks has absolutely and completely stripped out ANY kind of real price discovery mechanism in the market… henceforth what we have now, a market with no basis or resemblance of reality.
With all this, it is extremely difficult to say “the market” is “due” for something/anything…
Its an absolute freak show.

It has been a freak show for years . Just look how often and how long Silver has been manipulated.

Really all depends when THEY are ready to pull the rug. Like you said as long as the illusion is maintained they can herd the sheep right into the slaughter house . If we only knew what was under the surface i'm sure it would be a complete horror , bankers dont like to work weekends and the "emergency" meetings last week were on a weekend , but everything is FINE !
