Once I thought our leaders were intelligent, experienced, and wise.
That was over 50 years ago as a kid
Now they lack the most elementary competence
It is all about managing perceptions and appealing to emotions.
When my cohort deployed Internet 1.0, we naively thought it would enable more rational decisions with the availability of data and logic.
We were wrong
