That's the point. They need to cover the incoming cycle crash with the lockdown.. they can blame "Covid 2.0" for a cycle panic that is going to happen regardless. Cycles are windows in time, they can breathe, but they can't be stopped. Not even by the Fed's printer. By using another lockdown to explain away this crash, all blame is off the Fed.
