"Inflation Is Dropping"?? NOT!
Yesterday (Thurs) and today (Fri) is when the new sales/flyers start at the two grocery stores that I shop at. Each Thurs/Fri, I'll go to the grocery store(s) website and go 'aisle by aisle', looking at ALL of the items that are on sale (not all sales are in the flyers!). Within ONE WEEK, the MAJORITY of grocery items have gone UP!!!!! Anywhere from 10 cents, to One Dollar, is what I've seen in the past 2 days of looking on the stores websites. A few examples: my Organic ice cream was $10.79 last week; today it's $11.79. One pound of ground Buffalo meat was $9.99 last week; now $10.99. STORE BRAND Lemon Juice from concentrate 32 oz was $2.49 last week; now $2.99. Organic (fresh) carrots 5lb was $4.79 last week; now $4.99. Store Brand Organic frozen veg 16 oz was $2.79 last week; now $2.89.
