If there is inflation , it's not affecting people at all. I went to 6 starbucks today to check out first hand. All full. Lines of 99% in the starbucks at the mall (The fabled 1% are drinking from the diamond mugs in palaces I guess) .
Gold and Silver down for the last 10 years, dollar above what it was in 1992, expensive cars everywhere, every good house getting multiple offers above asking price. If this is the bad economy then I don't know what is a good economy honestly.
