I happen to know that the major Wall St. Banks are going to be getting a large influx of capital soon. I do not know the exact date. It would be my best guess that this cash is going to be used to buy stocks, especially large caps. This is stock market positive.
Here is where this gets fuzzy. 1. Crude oil… in order for a meaningful market move higher crude needs to be bid up. 2. The 10yr yield must not drop. In fact we need to see it move higher.
In summary. The Wall St. mega-banks will be getting huge amounts of capital directly from The Fed/WCB which is positive for stocks. We need crude to get bid higher, and we need to see the 10yr yield gain. If we see crude catch a bid, and the 10yr moving higher KNOWING the banks are getting WCB capital… stocks will gain and it could be substantial.
