I think the problem with this rapid in&out strategy is that unless you buy at the exact moment GM does, with a narrow profit marg, is that you lose the opportunity to make the thin margin that GM does. I bought within 5 minutes of GM on both, bought on limit at the low end, and I'm still negative on both TGT and DIS today. Had a tiny transient positive bump when I bought TGT, but it evaporated quickly. Now I'm sitting on 2 negative positions. Not first time this has happened. Nice thing is that these calls don't expire for a while, so they should come back up and I can eke out a tiny profit at least, but this rapid in&out for a minimal profit is very iffy in its timing.
