I think Greg's analysis of the market reasons for the down turn today is a little off
as it wasn't Biden's considering raising capital gains tax at all! Even if Biden increases
capital gains that type of tax has to be approved by both the House & The Senate and
I'm sure they'll water down that increase. In the political realm, you have to ask for "more"
than what you'll think you get so that there is "room" to negotiate some type of increase.
There have been also talk about a financial transaction tax on every financial transaction
so the question of taxes is a no brainer in the sense that that has to be negotiated in both
House and Senate and then compromised on and everyone on Wall Street dam well knows
this and so to do the Republicrats and Democats!
No, the real story yesterday and today was Putin shoveling 100,000 troops, tanks, etc on
the Ukraine Eastern Border and threatening the use of nuclear weapons "if" the US, NATO
and other Allies cross his red lines! Now, if you haven't been in sync with international
politics you will find that neither Trump nor Biden would threaten the use of nuclear weapons
so Mr. FSB/KGB is playing the wild card in international politics. He's also stated he's going
to blockade the Black Sea so all the coast of the Ukraine at the same time which makes
Ukraine surrounded by the Russian Navy and Russian Military Forces on their border with
the threat of the use of nuclear weapons if red lines are drawn.
Okay, so your a fat ass Wall Street type making money on everything and suddenly you
have deja vu remembering in 2016 to 2020 the former President Donald Trump telling the
American People he was tearing up the nuclear treaty with Russia and "modernizing" our
US Nuclear Arsenal of Weapon Systems during this same time. In December 2016 he
espouted this new American Policy of Nuke Modernization. Did he or the US modernize
their nuclear weapons systems from 2016 to 2020 under the Trump Administration? The
answer is nope!!!! Did Putin say he would modernize his nuke weapons system from 2016
onward and did he? Yes siree Bob! Now, Russia has hypersonic nuclear weapon systems
jamming radar and missile systems, directed energy weapons(which they are using on
US Military in Syria) and surprisingly Fox News yesterday and today are bringing on
US Air Force Generals etc. stating for the record much of our nuclear deterrence weapons
systems are like 40-50 years old even after spending billions of dollars on defense appropriations.
How does Russia modernize their weapons systems and spend well below the US but
still have superior weapons systems to that of the US?
So, you're now a Senator or House Representative or bureaucrat or Wall Street Fat Ass
and you now have the uncanny realization your US nuclear deterrence is antiquated
except for the nuclear submarine leg of that triad. Your Minutemen are ancient dust
and your bombers can be shot out of the skies which means your naked ass is showing
in public and Putin is laughing his balls off at you and yours. The F-35 is a bomb that
should have been ditched and the F-22 Raptor was moth balled even though it was
the best kick ass aircraft we have made for air to air combat missions, etc.
So, while Mr. Trump put on his Act I, Act II, Act III and Act IIII Clown show the Russians
were building modernized hypersonic weapons and we here in the West were sleep
walking and watching our dam cell phone shows, etc.???
Now, you have Christians listening to their websites crying about how they could be
fried in one burst of nukes going off and I didn't see that same crying when the last
Administration left us endlessly helpless in a dangerous World.
Biden if he's smart will push Germany to cut off and end Nord Stream II to Europe
as we have seen the Beast in Russia, none of the West should be feeding it via buying
shit from Russia or China for that matter.
If Putin wants to blockade the Black Sea and do no fly zones, then I think we, the US
and other Nations should do the same. The US will create a no ship no fly zone inthe
Caribbean Basin by China or Russia within 72 hours and on the Atlantic and Pacific
2,000 miles out is our National Security Zone subject to US Navy and Military authority.
Putin claims he only protecting "Russian Speaking" People in Ukraine. This is the sort
of bull shit Hitler said as he plowed in Poland before WWII. I would suggest to Greg
and Wall Street we're in for some hot time in the old time and ps- we need a US Draft
of young men and women not only for national security but infrastructure, etc. domestically.
Teach technology and let them run with it.
