There is no way to avoid an economic disaster. For over 30 years, economists have said the deficit was unsustainable. As long as we go down this path, so will the rest of the world. I believe no one in the government and possibly the central banks don't remember anything they were taught in Macro economics! This is very scary because with a change of administrations, more money needs to be spent on domestic defense alone. We are in scary economic and political days.
