What is your opinion as to why, during the clown show debate, there was not A SINGLE QUESTION about the Fed? Monetary Policy? Or why BOTH Presidential selectees are promising lower rates?
Greg, very few citizens grasp the workings of either our financial or monetary systems. (I am fortunate to have learned from you.) Most believe the Federal Reserve (Fed) is “Federal” and has “reserves.” I struggled with understanding this myself, and was dismayed to learn that the Fed is owned by a conglomerate of international Banks. It’s equally disconcerting to discover how interwoven the privately-owned Fed is with our US Government’s Treasury Department.
Given the US citizens lack of education on these topics, how could a political candidate effectively broach this topic during the Dog & Pony show that is a Presidential election debate? Ron Paul has been trying for decades with minimal success.
That’s an easy one Greg. The first candidate that tells the truth loses the selection.
