Lions.. a good rule for selling puts is this.
Sell 2 weeks to 1 month out, 20% or more OTM.
For example. If stock XYZ is trading at $100 you would sell $80 puts which expire in 2 weeks to 1 month.

Greg you need to let everyone know they will need collateral to sell puts. Also otm puts 30% out are around 10 cents. Are you saying sell a lot of 10 c puts versus 30 cent puts at 15% otm?
