Am I the only one that missed update on SLV trade? I never saw a post about closing that one..

Expand full comment

I'm also confused about that. I've been holding in a deep loss this whole time.

Expand full comment

I am holding it regardless, I have high expectations for silver still, but it would be nice to know what happened to that call.

Expand full comment

Exactly. I think people want to see Greg listing ALL positions.

If you did buy the exactly what he said, you will be fine. Gold and silver will come out of the woods about a month or two before the inflation really kicks in. Inflation will come as early as February next year, and as late as March next year. So I expect gold and silver start moving higher latest by December or January. Just be patient.

No, it's true where is it?

Hey Greg, if you can, it would be useful to post how much you paid for each option, so we can have a better idea if it's still reasonable to get in. Thank you for sharing your trades!

Gambling $1500 for a $30 dollar profit is not very smart. The person who does best is the person in front of the line and that is GM. He gets in before everyone rides the wave that thousands of us create, then he gets off with a sweet profit. Most of us just end up holding the empty bag!!

Where is SLV trade????

Expand full comment

WHERE IS SLV? LOL... Sweep that one under a persian rug? I bet these cubs are still holding.... hope you have dental for that tooth decay.

Expand full comment

Dude wtf. He quietly closes the position without mentioning the huge loss?

Expand full comment

L O L. I refer to him once in a while. Ultimately you should make your own decisions. Learn how to implement stop losses. I learnt the hard way. Won't make that mistake again. Educate yourself. This is a dangerous game....

I bought and sold SLV Monday and Tuesday at a profit. Why are you all bag holding when he mentioned many times to pull profits when there is profit.

Expand full comment

i don't hold silver anymore but wtf ? why he is not updating on it ?

Expand full comment

Because when he sells it’s when the price is about to fall or when he doesn’t think the price will go any higher. Price change too fast so by the time you get the message that he pulled out, it’s too late for you. Learn to read charts yourself.

Expand full comment

You’re misrepresenting the issue. There was no message at all about closing trade.

Expand full comment

You're missing the point and the lesson.

Expand full comment

I get the lesson. That’s not my point. My point is he’s usually thorough with his open and close posts and this one, which didn’t perform, went quietly away. You said it yourself.

Expand full comment

Guys he said its a long term hold. https://twitter.com/chemansim/status/1317121590912483331?s=19

Expand full comment

even if he sells fast he need to tell people and not wait until they down 20% or not even mention, not everyone can stomach such loss with poker face

Expand full comment

And then the casino mentality of "I'll just get back to even" kicks in... I feel the pain. Love y'all. Love yourselves. We can all do better

8 percent on tuesday. Never been a fan of blindfolds. Maybe on others. But not myself.

AND WHERE IS SILVER POSITION ?

Expand full comment

Did greg close slv? Im still long on that.

Expand full comment

Instead of buying option that Greg is choosing, sell a put option, it is safer

All the positions we have traded this week went to straight loses. I dont know how you closed most of them with profits. I know people will be like "YoU goTTA puLL ProFits". GUY, there were no profits, and i am not closing a position on a 10$ profit lol.

Expand full comment

and that 10$ profit gets taken by the commision lol. I am not blaming Greg. Greg doesnt control the market. We trade his trades at out on discretion. All I want from his is to be a bit more transparent with the loses.

Expand full comment

Greg said all week that he was making intraday trades. He is assuming you have at least some idea of what you are doing! The only way to make money on quick in and out trades is to buy a lot of contracts and sell even just .20 higher on the contract price. This is not for everyone. If you do not like it then do not do it- but why would you come on here and complain about it? He could not have been more clear. if you did not make money it is because you did not listen to the instructions and/or you do not understand what he is talking about, in which case, you should learn a little first and then come back on here and try and pay very close attention before entering any position he says he entered.

He is constantly saying gold and silver are going up. he is constantly talking about finessing positions. put the two together and come up with your own strategy on slv.

I averaged down and sold for a profit.

p.s. they do not expire until June.

Expand full comment

No way you made a profit averaging down on that call.

Where is SLV? I didn't see you announce you closed the trade in an email...

I know very well silver is going higher, as I do my own analysis, but I think he needs to be honest with his current positions, because he claims to be "having our back". Honestly, I purchased the exact same long dated SLV option just an hour before he said to buy, because I saw the break out, which now turned out to be a false breakout. But anyway, I think it is going higher within the next 3 months. Got to be patient now.

Damn I’m still in SLV and APPL both 15-20% down.

Expand full comment

All trades negative including today's (I was still on SLV and SBUX 92.5), no more dry powder left.

I'm down on SBUX too.

Expand full comment

Im still deep in slv.

Expand full comment

what happened to slv?

I bought sqqq calls friday. Up 10% so far.

GOOD DAY FOR A PUT GUYS! XD

Whats your trading record?

Ahead of where I started that's for sure. Taken won some lost some. So far the outcome is income. In the long run the lessons are most valuable. Just some love from someone who's broken free of dependence and makes their own calls. Hope you guys win. These are tough times. Tough to see desperation kick in... I've been there.
