As with all things, there will be people who even find fault with the concept of doing good because it doesn't include either this or that.. to me these are just excuses to continue to do NOTHING.
Any such Concept as Gregory is proposing must first be founded in and with GOD First. Anything less will be corrupted by evil who wants to steal, kill and destroy us. If we follow GOD and HIS Laws this allows us all to unite together as GOD always intended us to do.
If you follow ist and second commands Jesus Christ highlighted in his earthly ministry, you will be fulfilling love thy neighbor without the need to join an organization
Ps.edit - let me add that we need to be members of a Bible believing and teaching church so that we might fulfill Christ's plan to use our respective gifts skills and talents to build one another up and do the good works we have been pre-ordained to do. We can not ignore the apostolic command of not forsaking the assembling together with other believers .
Well you clearly missed my point. I never said eliminating the left but what I was referencing was the push to allow child mutilation gender affirming surgery. Those people think they are doing the right thing just as hitler thought killing 9 million Jews was the right thing and my point is that only GOD is good because the definition of good is moral perfection. If people what to do good then follow what has been shown to us through Jesus Christ. It’s ok though you opinion and thoughts are appreciated.
The problem with this Greg is people like Hitler and the democraps that are far left think they are doing the world a favor and doing good. The Bible says there is non good but GOD alone. It’s because the definition of good is moral perfection and there is no single person in this world that is morally perfect everyone has lied stolen or deflected in the slightest way. Through the blood of Jesus Christ our debts have been paid and all we need to do is accept that gift, repent and aim to live a godly life live how Jesus Christ did. Even though we are flawed we can still live by GODs laws and precepts and the world will be a better place if so.
