I've posted this on other Greg threads but needs to be mentioned again. With respect to medications you/your pet may need, time is running out to get a stockpile. And it's possible to stockpile because we did it and here's how.
Figured out how much 6 mths worth of each med (30 days x 6 months x amt of each dose per day = amount needed) and then contacted our family provider through the patient portal and asked him to send online to WALMART unrefillable Rxs for each med in the dosages/quantities specified. You might want to give Walmart the heads up you're doing this; I did.
Walmart has $4/30-day supply program of generic drugs you can buy WITHOUT USING INSURANCE. There was only 1 of my Husband's meds that wasn't generic and we used GoodRx for that. GoodRx site texted the coupon to my phone and that one coupon applied to all 6 months of that med.
Granted, we have a really good relationship with our family P.A. Nevertheless, even if you don't, explaining what and why you're making this request is totally reasonable to keep your health stable given potential supply disruptions.
I have noticed the huge price increases of things I buy routinely. I'm not someone that normally shops sales or coupons, but I think I will be doing that to try and pay the more reasonable price I used to pay. I'll buy in bulk when I find it at a reasonable price. Will we get raising wages to match?
