It's interesting watching "christians" killing "christians". Russian orthodox "christians" killing Ukrainian "christians".

Is that what your Bible means when it says to love your brother? Is that what your Bible means when it says to love with "the love of Gee-zus christ"?

"Christians" have been slaughtering each other for centuries. It's not going to stop anytime soon I guarantee you that. 😃

To secure raw material supplies: Gates and Bezos promote mining in Greenland

28 Mar. 2022 6:44 pm

A U.S. mining company wants to supply the raw materials needed in the construction of electric vehicles, which are lacking due to sanctions against Russia. For this purpose, a joint venture in Greenland is to be actively expanded. Sponsors are well-known US billionaires.

KoBold Metals, a U.S.-based mineral exploration company, said Thursday it is ready to begin drilling for nickel and other raw materials needed for electric vehicles amid skyrocketing prices on mineral resources due to Ukraine sanctions against Russia.

>>>> Last year <<<<< , the company secured a 51 percent stake in the Disko-Nuussuaq project on the west coast of Greenland, which is operated by British company Bluejay Mining. In 2022, the joint venture plans to drill a total of 3,000 meters at a depth of 150 to 400 meters to access the metal deposits. Bo Stensgaard, CEO of Bluejay, told Reuters news agency:

"The goal is to find massive nickel, copper, cobalt and platinum group metals."

KoBold Metals is known for using artificial intelligence and cloud computing techniques to predict the composition of the subsurface when searching for raw materials. The company says its goal is to "fully electrify the global economy and usher in an electric vehicle revolution." The project is backed by big-name backers such as Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and Ray Dalio, founder of the world's largest hedge fund Bridgewater Associates.

Thanks Greg! Great job - the dancing and singing definitely not bad at all! 😆

I'm not in that club either and don't ever want to be. You're so right about the freaks wanting to kill us. Seems so obvious but I don't get why so many people don't see it. If the dip in crude isn't going to last, does that mean you don't expect any of the energy sector to come down a bit more (to dip buy) before they all take off higher?

Hey Gregory .... I love your work and have been following you for years. Can you comment on what you think will happen to home prices this year and moving forward? Is it going to keep on inflating or will higher mortgage rates and inflation in general take a bite off people's purchasing power for homes?

Some but not all. Upper tier earners are still buying properties but Blackrock and Vanguard (The Fed) are right on their heels. When the Fed is through buying mortgage securities the bubble will burst.

Thanks for your reply. I just wonder for home buying, now seems the worse time to do so. Yet if assets are going to keep inflating per Gregory, then I can’t see how home prices will not do in conjunction with equities.

Do you have any land properties you are interested in? A friend of mine bought some property back in the 1970’s when housing prices were out of reach for many wage earners. He bought some property and eventually got a construction loan and built a beautiful home in a wooded area. It took him some time to finish it but he kept at it. He reminded me of a bird building it’s nest. It’s a slow steady process. Fixer uppers are also an option. It’s amazing how far you can stretch even a fiat buck if you have to! Good luck.

Unfortunately I’m not as handy a fixer upper like your friend. I’ve been looking to buy a home in a suburbs here in California but prices in the past year have jumped 25%. I’m wondering if we are in a bubble in home prices or not …

Expand full comment

Yes you are. In 2008 we saw a giant drop in prices after the Dodd subprime debacle. Keep your powder dry and when this bubble pops I think you will be in a good position. Keep the down payment money ready for when prices return to a more reasonable level.

Do you think it will be in conjunction with the market meltdown that Gregory is talking about? However, that meltdown seems like a long ways coming with new market highs in the future (per Greg).

I look at Crypto similarly to art. Fine quality art is an investment. And some people, just don't appreciate art and think paying hundreds-of-thousands or millions for a painting is ridiculous. Whether you see value in it as an investment is subjective.

One investment along these lines which few would think of, is single Origin Chinese Fermented Tea. Simply because it's a product that requires aging. There are no replacements for time. And the supply is limited. While China has incomes increasing exponentially. You might think it's crazy. But the market shows it increases in price with every year it ages.

Plus, having some on hand might earn me good favor as a gift when your new Mandarin speaking overlords take the reign of power and put all of you into labor camps. Form of insurance as well. LMAO

Today is Trump. Tomorrow it could be anyone. Taxes are so complex that everyone is breaking some rules some where. Even if we are breathing, walking, eating, we are breaking some rules and can be held in prison any moment. Such is the land of the free now
