I dont think we need to understand the exact mechanism of it. The high level picture is that they create money, digitally, not actually by making dollars. Then they use this money to buy assets to prop it all up. Government debt mainly.

I would argue that it is imperative to have a basic understanding of the actual mechanism; to possess the most basic financial literacy to explain to others that are "comfortably numb" watching their stocks go up.

What troubles me is I don't live in a negative spin on life.
One day when I watch, I would love to see you say something positive about this great country.
It's as if you are in search of negative news all day long.
