I don't play w/Crypto's call me a silver bug-stacker that's where I'm placing my speculative bets. I personnelly don't trust Bitcoin-too many Whales & Pumpers for my taste, and as Greg's said they're not really stores of wealth or value but rather speculative vehicles. That said I know enough about Bitcoin's chart to say that $3,700s a good buying or entry point. I disagree w/P Schiff on Crypto's, they may be highly volatile but I do not think they're going to ZERO. And I'd also agree w/Greg that they're anti-Fed Anti-Fiat anti-Debt vehicles. Silver's just the freakin sale of the century in my eyes and that's where I've placed a lot of my bet....along w/my 75 oz of Gold. Best of luck out there Lions!

Bitcoin or Litecoin for exsmple is proof!

How can any store accept my silver or gold coin without taking huge steps to Test it???

How do you handle pricing,??? Shave a few grains off a gold bar and expect the cashier to weigh it and test it??

Lol

Bitcoin has the proof of Authenticity built in and Finality and Easy Divisibility.

I'm both a crypto and PM's enthusiast. I have a question for you... where are you placing your speculative bets now that silver is next to impossible to find (or w/o enormous premiums)? I would love to buy more silver, but I'm not counting on finding any in the near term. Bitcoin has amazing potential if you see the long term vision of the decentralized project. IMO, it's either going to zero or millions of $/coin, which creates a hugely asymmetric trade of worst case loss = 1x, best case gain ~100x. If you can't find silver, Bitcoin is a great asset to accumulate as well.

No speculative bets at the moment. I was middle of changing employers when Austrian government closed the boarder and my employer laid off all the workers. The only employees currently receiving pay is through a government hand out from Austria to the Company

Otherwise I would be Heavy, on Ethereum Right now. Last week was the moment. We still will get some drops bounces and dips to buy so Im not too concerned. Just got to have Strong Hands like Hell in this environment , not to Sell coins

Agreed. I think crypto will be a rough road for a while during this deflationary death spiral we're in, there will likely be more dips to buy. I will need strong hands as well. Good luck to you!

You sound higher up the ladder than myself-I can't afford Bitcoin!

Expand full comment

Anybody can afford Bitcoin. You don't need to buy a full Bitcoin, you can buy fractions down one hundred millionth of a coin. It doesn't matter if you ever accumulate a full bitcoin, in fact 99.99% of people on Earth will never own a full Bitcoin because there will only ever be 21 million Bitcoins minted, and not a fraction more.

Expand full comment

I hear ya bro no offense, but a fraction of a bitcoin or fractional share of Amazon is about the least thing on earth I'm interested in. Fractional gold however now we're talkin!

Expand full comment

Fractional gold and fractional Bitcoin is virtually the same idea, both are divisible, but Bitcoin happens to be more divisible. Bitcoin is not like shares of Amazon. No one controls Bitcoin, and no one can increase the max supply. Bitcoin is like gold that you have complete ownership of, but you have no physical attachment to. It's hard to wrap your mind around that and get over the psychological barrier, but once you do, you really see it's value.

Sure you can if you buy silver. $10 of bitcoin is more than $0. Dont be No Coiner.

I buy most of my metals on SD bullion.com, they still have some silver available at premiums around $6-7 which is pretty good these days! ProvidentMetals currently has a good deal on Australian 1/2 oz 2016/17 coins I bought 10 yesterday. Good luck friend!

My only issue with crypto is the many layers of technology and financial systems it takes to make it work. One break in that chain, crypto doesn't work.

Expand full comment

Not really, look at all the possible ways to pay without internet even. Paper wallets transfer. Perfect example of a paper type crypto system is Crypto Stamp from the Austrian Post Office.

Only one system it takes to work!! The system your coin is using. EVM for Ethereum for example. All actions and everything can be performed there!! No outside Anything is needed.

Thats the Real Point of Crypto. What finacial system are You even talking about thats needed to Run Crypto???? Huh.

You need to Learn Crypto

Expand full comment

You bring up valid points. I've been trading crypto for over two years on coinbase pro...To buy crypto you need access to the block chain network, a bank where you convert fiat into crypto on an exchange. It works well when all systems are working.

Expand full comment

Exchanges are the only way out of FIAT yes thats true.

But working for crypto is a big plus in my Address

Expand full comment

Once I make a move out of FIAT that capital no longer returns to that Defunct system.

It stays there, it works there, it loves life, crypto has so much more to Offer me, than any crappy FIAT

Ive been slowly escaping for some time now!

Greg, not only BTC but any of the majors are going to ride up. I would encourage everyone to do some homework and understand the use case of each Crypto Currency and understand that the utility of them will exponentially increase the price in the near future

Quick question. I am very new to this subscription letter and I just found Greg like two weeks ago. So, the question is what Cryptocurrencies are validated to be decentralized besides bitcoin? I like to buy some, but don't have a lot of capital to buy Bitcoin. Thanks in advance for you input.

Just reading an article this morning about a revolution in cryptisation. Some nations are trying to counter the whole crypto thing with platforms that are universally user friendly for a varied population. It is their answer to competing. All this will come out in the wash in the future. As the push to go cashless is completed. So, what is a safe bet? There's no such thing any more. I listen to Mannarino. I think playing in crypto is much different on some levels, but if you know how to play it (like the markets) you could stand to gain, and then put it into a tangible before the change over. However, I found that getting it out is a bit more difficult than one thinks. Any advice on that Gregory, 'make me smile in the face of all this shite', Mannarino :)

The use case for Bitcoin is store of value IMO. It cant be manipulated like Fiat currency, it is decentralized meaning no middleman. It can’t be censored and it is borderless. No one runs BTC!

Expand full comment

Uh. The users do. Anyone strong enough to try and make a change can do so.

I mean it is not centralized like the banking system.

I dont think bitcoin will have a exponential increase in utility besides being held on the hopes it goes up in price. I don’t know anyone using to pay for anything. I hold a nice chunk though

Greg I just signed up for your newsletter after watching you with Lynette Zang. I see what is going and and very very concerned. I live off my disability payments and have little funds to invest here and there as I can. What advice can you give me to help me have some kind of gains so I can reinvest into “real” things like gold, silver? What are your thoughts on buying some bitcoin now, I have a few hundred dollars to invest. Sorry it’s not very much, but I am really nervous about what’s going on and what I can do to help myself. Thank you so much about caring about the little guy
