First I want to say Thank You, for making us all aware of all the lies, deceit and bullshit the Feds and their like are feeding the public.
Greg I don't understand how ETF's pay out. For instance, COMT has a very high yearly dividend . If you compare it to a stock like MO which has a dividend of around 9% , you make more money with MO. I use the income calculator T D Ameritrade offers to get the results. How is that ? Is there an ETF for dummies book that would explain it ? Thanks

Linde was once a traditional German company - but that's over, at the latest since today's Extraordinary General Meeting of the company. At the meeting in Connecticut, at least 93 percent of shareholders voted in favor of the company's withdrawal from Deutsche Börse. So what has long been feared is coming true: Linde will in future concentrate entirely on the American capital market. The Dax loses its most valuable member. The German benchmark index will lose more than 150 billion euros in stock market value.
From March onwards, shares in the gas and gas plant manufacturer can only be traded in New York. Shareholders will receive one share in a new holding company for each share in Linde plc. German investors will therefore retain ownership of their shares, but will no longer be able to sell them on Deutsche Börse. The move is not expected to have any impact on the organizational culture, employees or customers.
Since the merger of Munich-based Linde AG with its U.S. competitor Praxair, the shares had been traded in both Frankfurt and New York. For a long time, however, the German stock exchange had been only the second most important trading place for the share. While only around eight percent of Linde shares are held by German investors, around 73 percent of the shares are held by American investors, according to Bloomberg. For market observers, the delisting therefore comes as little surprise.
The public wont believe it until its too late, cant tell you how many times I get told "there is still tons of food on the shelves wheres the problem" SMH
At my job the loads we haul out for the night crew to stock are puny compared to 4 year ago when I started. Also in what we called cereal back stock there used to be a mountain range but now not even decent hills. It's still very messed up and I see improvement only here and there for only short duration. Many holes to be filled on shelves and we put out all we have even if it means putting it into the missing brand next to it.
Back in the day when this covid crap was still in China Dr Chris Martinson was saying on his YouTube channel its coming here so stock up before the panic hits. The people I told about it looked at me like I was crazy. We listened and prepared both the pantry as well as our immune systems as he said we should. We sat just fine and when the bug came to our house at ages 64 for my wife and me it was a non event and less than the flu. Minor symptoms for me and nothing for her. The US population suffers from a normalcy bias.
This is some pretty serious s!@# we are going to experience this coming year so make some money to offset the increased costs we will pay. And stock up. I work part-time for a fairly large grocery chain and though a peon and not in the loop I can tell you things ain't right from my hands on observation.
It's come off support at 14 and it needs to get through resistance at 16 then 18. After that there is little holding it back to 23. I think it needs to come down to 14.60 then buy
List of commodity ETF’s. BCD, BCI, COMB, COMT, DBO, DBC, DBE, DJP, GSG, GCC, PDBC, USO. There are others as well.
Investing involves risk, consider your objectives carefully.
Thank you! Very helpful!

ETFs don't pay dividend. Why not investing in "commodity" stocks?
