Yah work 401k has no option to be in cash. It must be invested in the market. Was able to get some of it out thankfully because of the Cares act.

Ammar you should be able to, up to $100k with no penalty. Obv you do have to pay income tax on it but it can be paid over 3 years at least at the Federal level. I think the Cares act required all 401k plans to allow this. There are some vague requirements you are supposed to meet though to do it.

mine only got stable fund is that similar to cash?

Bill it could be depending on what it is. Some of those are insurance funds like Prudential that pay a small amount of interest but are supposed to be 'safe'.

Thanks Greg, and THE FED and all the DUMMYS asking all the LAME questions think we are all DUMB??? If you didn't learn your lesson in 2008 and prepare, you will never recover from this next one!!! Even the folks who prepare will also suffer GREATLY from this Worldwide Economic crash, and it will be like Mad Max!!!
