What I do is, on my days off from work; I open Greg's website and keep refreshing every 3-5 mins. Especially in the first 30 minutes of trading day. I would not get in a trade that he sent longer then 20 minutes prior unless the Stock value has gone down. I try to react as fast as I can which each trade. Thats the key IMO.

Hello Rome. Is there a way to tell the price of the contract at which Greg entered and the price at which he sold the contract (or closed the position) which would help me learn how the 4% gain was reached? Thanks for any feedback.

Well the only way to know what price he went in at would be if Greg disclosed it.

Greg getting in and out before I can even price the option...LOL and he is riding a 10 minute price action upswing and if you are not watching the charts at that very moment you will miss the ride. INCREADIBLE.

I just peaked at some charts quickly then jumped in. Even when the position was just up 2%, I had feeling I had to get ready to sell since Greg was a bit skittish about the market.

I think these trades are turning to pump and dumps. At some point they'll be so many people buying at the same time first in first out makes the most

i don't believe that Greg is intending to pump and dump. there is an element of that which is unavoidable unfortunately. I like the suggestion to buy a different month or strike to avoid some of the piling in and out of his Lions. options are not as liquid as the underlying and you have to get the right price or you are screwed.

Yup. I almost wish there was a copy options trader algo like the cryptos have. Set it up to automatically buy and sell successful traders.

No way I can dedicate my whole day to a computer screen to buy and sell in a few minutes.

Just sit on the sidelines with popcorn for now.

i want to start doing that w/ cryptos. do you have a link to what you mean?

There are a few. You have to take a bit to read on them and set it up. Many involve multiple apps. Some let you set it up in advance like cryptohopper. I've used a few, currently using cryptocopytrade. It's not bad, real traders allow their returns to be listed, people and set up to copy them, they get a small % of your profits for doing so. It works for me, not having time to sit and monitor. There are a few others if you search for them.

i have 1/3 of my investments in crypto and a 1/3 in stock market. I think i may get majority out of stock/options as i keep losing...and go to crypto and do the swing trade on the large swings while also understanding that we are headed for a bull run probably and i won't be left holding the bag again.

There are services that also allow you mirror traders like that for stocks as well. I think it's called copy or mirror trading.

Hello Raheen. I also sent this same message to Rome. Is there a way to tell the price of the contract at which Greg entered and the price at which he sold the contract (or closed the position) which would help me learn how the 4% gain was reached? Thanks for any feedback.

Hey Stephen, the price would be the strike which he mentioned 140 calls with June 18, 2021 expiration. Lets say the premium is $12.75 and it rises to .51 cents too a total of $13.26 which is .04% of 12.75. Then he sells the contract sell to close of the 1 contract he would make .51 x 100 shares of the option contract if he had 5 contracts he would make .51 x 500 shares of the option contract and so on. Hope this helps.

Thanks so much Raheen. I feel a little ignorant after your explanation. I wish we could tell the price Greg paid because when I am able to view his trades the price of the option has changed significantly in some cases.

By the time Greg's message came through to close positions there must be some sort of delay as my DIS & XLF are well down

I'm a beginner and started this daytrade strategy just have one question, do you buy just one or more contracts for 4%-8% profit goal?

Expand full comment

all depends on how much capital you have. Some buy multiple contracts others just one. Also depends on your risk tolerance.

Expand full comment

thank you, I'm still experimenting with these long buy calls, I was used to sell puts.

Expand full comment

little by little you'll get the hang of it.

You didn't sell too soon this time....I'm still in it. Looking for a rebound at some point.

Unless to trade at the same time, we have no mean to gain on this kind of trade. After less than 5 minutes they were both up and down again. I think it's risky to trade in the beginning of a session because often the underlying stocks go up in the first minutes and then down for the rest of the day?

losses on both trades today. dis and xlf. maybe turn around soon???

Expand full comment

i know. i hesitated on dis, bought xlf. then he sold and it started down turning so I sold and made 0% profit, but 0% loss...but used my day trade! i think it's quick pump and dumps going on now. must pay careful attn

This one went by too fast for me to catch.

That was too quick, I bought @15.20 and it's down now ...
