The elderly living alone or with family have a choice. Workers, however, are being forced into making a decision between their life and livelihood. Monday, life insurance companies have said those 18-64 have had highest death uptick over 40% in one year. The old are the only class able to choose and still get SS payments
You are talking here to a healthcare provider who was fired end of October. I had a choice. And I chose not to remain a slave to the system, and not to participate in tyranny. The old as you call them have fought back in the day for their lives and livelihood. Over the years the corrupt healthcare system broke them down, and the last two years of fear mongering, isolation from friends/family/outdoors has broken anything that was left. All they want to do is enjoy their grandchildren while they still can while "doing the right thing". It is up to us. Our turn to fight for out livelihood and our lives! Say no, get fired, get everything the employer says/writes on record, sue them, sue your governor and the public health department. If we all did that instead of holding on to our paychecks this would have been over long time ago. One always has a choice. Can't get out of tyranny with compliance.
Agree.. but very tough decision for us mid career with kids to support. If I were over 65, I’d be set in my SS and savings over a lifetime of work- problem is our careers may be cut short if we do t take jab. Really hitting workers hard
Unfortunately, we are going to have to get used to all these variants that are bound to appear in the months and years to come. There will be successive waves, and we must learn to live with this COVID-19.
