1979 The Volker-Carter Regime. Gas lines and 55 mph speed limit. It didn’t seem to matter what groceries cost back then. If you could get your car to the gas station and supermarket without running out of fuel you were doing ok. 18% interest rates around the corner and Israel had turned us against Iran. We haven’t leaned much! Thermostats @ 68 degrees in winter and OPEC cut us a break at $1.999/gal regular.
I like silver as well. Many predict the metal to exceed $100 and then some. What is your opinion on where the price will go and the time frame that it will take to become free from all the bank manipulation bs that keeps the price so low?
