I think you are also seeing a parallel economy getting ready to come to light. Between the cancelation culture and out of control inflation people are putting their money in hard assets and other forms of value that are not tied to the “system”

77 metric tons of gold purchased in January 2023. Heavy buyers include Singapore, China and Kazakhstan. Converting their own fiat currency for a tangible wealth asset. Central banks IMO are manipulating the price of both gold and silver and using their ability to drive down the price to load up. This is not going to end well for many.

Mmri trend suggests peak in June.

Random(s) on youtube suggest crash in June.

Michael Hartnett (Zerohedge) suggests event in H2.

It would be convenient for a false flag where real people die around this time.

XRP??? Hmmm, It has been a few years, but when I did my homework on that I steered way clear because it was privately made and pre mined and they can mint as many of them as they want. It is the WRONG crypto to own.

I know that for at least the past several months there have been a lot of phishing attacks related to XRP to try to get people to compromise their crypto wallets.

I've worked in IT for decades.

Between convoluted systems held together with spit and bailing wire, finicky/error-prone systems, IT personnel (not all, but many) lacking in competence and/or knowledge, and the ever present desire to push more (IT) systems into clouds/AI/fewer-humans ... I'm surprised more people don't run into the type of issues you're seeing.

Over the last 10 years I've purposely 'downgraded' my technical reliance as much as possible ... dumb phone (can it make a phone call? receive SMS texts?), Linux instead of Windows, very minimal use of (financial) account linking, no auto-pay/auto-debit options, pay the rent with a physical check.

I still have the occasional 'discussion' with a phone/service rep who's either brain-dead or is left helpless due to the brain-dead (IT) system they interact with.

Another example of our increasingly dysfunctional systemically collapsing system. I go through this type of stuff all the time. Best of luck to you, and, for that matter, all of us!
