Lions, we keep moving forward!! Lick the small wound and get ready for the next attack!! Been watching too much animal planet lol. Have a good weekend guys!
Damn those were the biggest option positions I have taken to date with Greg. Those hurt big time to sell. Wish I hadn't choose those two companies to go big on. Just my luck...ugh. Thanks for the other wins Greg. Lessons are expensive and good lessons are very expensive....
Consider your position sizing when Greg says “high risk/speculative” and “gutsy move” - kept me from going big... but looking back I should have put less capital in than all my other trades.
Thanks Greg, I had already planned to hold both positions until next week, and I'm sticking to my plan, but I added a few PUTS this afternoon to cover for any pullback. Got My Dry Powder Ready!!!
You know what sucks they just authorized Remdesiveir for use on all hospital patients massive volume in after-hours. Went from down to up slightly for the day. We probably would have got back half our loss I'm sure.
It took me weeks to get out of eBay position with a small profit. Never go all in and heavy on positions. I have been burnt and had to learn the hard way! Best of luck.
Yep, have learnt this. Watched how it behaves many times since June. Looks like value investors might make a bid on energy, or who knows the fed might have turned the money hose on all these poor struggling energy producers 😂
Greg's been right on the money and he takes loses like a professional, because he is a Professional.
I went in very small $CSCO so il sit on tight for next week . its staying right on consolidation. maybe only a miracle will lift it. haha . I always go in with a small position.
i wish you'd say the reasoning behind your selling out of the blue 10 months before expiration. for us little people, these hurt and don't want to sell if the reasoning doesn't make sense for me.
I felt the Pain aswel, lets see what this week holds, might be going short, Greg is managing risk, there is a long way to go so lets learn from this. Goog Luck.
I think the reasoning for selling is twofold. nothing goes up in a straight line, and the market has been moving up in a straight line. You can reasonably expect a pullback to come soon.
By selling now, you limit your losses. Additionally, options have a Time Decay Factor. So the longer you wait to sell your position, the more it costs.
Also, don't gamble with money you can't afford to lose. We are speculating, we are taking educated guesses no more than that.
All the best, and be optimistic. Losses are part of the game.
I agree losses are part of it, but have been almost my total experience since following greg. I appreciate his sharing his positions, but im just being honest. Too many positions in red. Thinking of selling everything tomorrow and regrouping what i am doing here
I know people made money on some trades, but unfortunately i could not partake in those because i was already partaking in the tanking ones. Again time for reassessment
STOP LOSS is my best friend. Yes - I personally lose sometimes, but losing means becoming strong, learning and make it better next time! If we do NOT lose, we're unreal!
Sad to see your perfect win record end.
Didn't end just took a break.
RIP. I'm in no rush I've averaged csco down to 4.1 I'll wait it out. You guys go get the fresh trades next week, I'll chill
yeah i have my csco down to 4.2...i will wait to see if i can't squeeze it
Yes waiting it out. Things can change quickly.
That's what I'm doing. Next week and the following week might have some holiday weakness in the markets, so look to hold beyond that.

Another thing is that trading view had sell ratings on GILD and CSCO.
like you said, sometimes you win sometimes ya dont...
r u a deity?
Awesome run! I absolutely love your honesty and devotion.

Just kinda wondering what your gut was telling you. Repeat of 2/21 premonition?
Sometimes you’re the bug. Sometimes you’re the windshield. Today ur the bug🤷♂️

I sold $CSCo for a small loss. Can’t complain we been riding high as a hog on Greg’s positions!!! We can’t always win!
i wish i had been riding high, but all my funds were tied up in these losers...if i had at least broken even at this point...
It took me weeks to get out of eBay position with a small profit. Never go all in and heavy on positions. I have been burnt and had to learn the hard way! Best of luck.
You're not kidding! Mistakes are not easily suffered in this biz.
I should have sold ebay this week with a small loss
@sassypants see XLE pop last few days? looks like we'll finally get an out.. glad I've averaged down aggressively
I did and it brought me from 50% down to about 30. Still dreadful, but i will hold a bit longer, because it's been down so long, must go up!
Hate playing XLE not much volume. Don’t always join Greg on that play.

Yeah it seems very flatline. Should not have gone in and then made it worse by averaging down
Just sold my Starbucks stock. If Greg is saying it I will take his word for it. He called every pullback and the crash in March!
Greg's been right on the money and he takes loses like a professional, because he is a Professional.

Im not complaining either, Next!

Couldn't even get rid of it for yesterday's low. FML

Thank you for being sincere, GM!
