It is unbelievable how I am at loss since the last 4 weeks. can not follow any trade or open a new one. until I close the ones I am at a loss!!! any advice?????
I never double down . Small size &have a tight stop say 10 15% Stop iftrade dont work. shake it off and on to the next. Successful traders always cut losses short if its 10% up im grateful and take profits on Options 3 to 5% gain and i will take
on options or stocks? I wouldn't sell an option at 10-15% loss. A stock I might depending on the company. But options fluctuate too much. but that is just me.
Im not sure I agree but everyone has a different tolerance level. I know if I average in the market is going to pick up again and ill make money. If I sell it I lose money.
When trading Options its always a trade NOT investment, trade it in and out. that's what Greg does. if you noticed he buys the EXP way out and ends up closing in same day or couple days, hes out , so We are trading here.
Buy more when there is a loss to DCA. If it's down 20%, but another option or 2 (your comfort level). That's about the only way you can trade (or wait it out).
Just don't go all in on the initial buy. Leave more $ to buy a dip.
Just got out of Starbucks at 19% gain, that one was all you GM
QQQ in @ 27.1 out @ 27.6
AAPL in @ 15.1 out @ 16.0
SBUX with 9% gain, thank Greg!

The loosing trades I made were when I bought too high.
I think we get in too late or too early.
Now I look how the price behaves especially that of the underlying asset before I get in.
Then I fix a low price limit for the order and adapt it afterwards.
Sometimes it just goes up, then I stay. If it gets back down I try to catch it low.

I was in and out so many times I'm not sure what % I ended up with. I don't like the way Fidelity tracks or uses FIFO methods.

equities are $0. Options are .65 /per option.
you know what that means...
Good job today
