In Dong Ha, which was much lower and on the river. The supplies came up the Cua Viet river. We were less than 20 clicks south of the DMZ. We got nightly rocket attacks from the North but only saw Charley once. A kid in his black PJs and his rice saucer hat. He dropped his AK and ran back into the jungle. I think he was a hungry scout looking for food.
