Long been aware of the way our gov’t turned it’s back on one of the most vulnerable populations in this beautiful country. It’s truly sickening, they just shifted people who need help mostly to a life of homelessness/incarceration or even worse, death. Here in Massachusetts, many if not all of the mental institutions were converted to apartments run by the Avalonbay Communities Inc. company.
More attention need be to the plight of the drug- addled, mentally/physically unwell, and homeless in our society. I’ll have to look in to Kensington, think that might be the area of Philly that I seen videos of on TV before. Absolutely soul sucking to learn more about.
I'm sure there will be some bread and circus then of course the classic compromise for the greater Good and the masses will still think left and right politics are different "we'll get them next time" ha ha
