One point I have not seen made - perhaps it has and I just have not seen it. BUT in the lead up to WW2 the US had the great depression which if you watch the old war factory movies / videos they talk to the point that the factory work making the weapons of war was a relief to those who had suffered for lack of work. WHY would the powers that be want the vast majority of Americans out of work and desperate? If you needed a desperate populace to build and support a WW3 you have the cause and effect!
