Demand is huge for Tesla . Backorders for a year. The innovate faster than other car manufacturers. Huge shortage in other EV brands with the chip shortages. Tesla eating there lunch.

I don't trust anything that Musk says, he talks out of both sides of his mouth. He has been fined by the SEC. He is a con man.

Expand full comment

The SEC are the con men bro, musk is just captured by their criminal cabal, just like the rest of us.

Destroy three letter agencies.

Fined by the devil for telling the devil he doesn't respect them? Sounds like a win to me.

Ive spend a fair amount of time pondering this - Why is it that when all other car manufacturers were having trouble filling orders due to "lack of chips" - Did TSLA report no such issue - Do they use a different chip - NO - I think the truth is those chips are being allocated for electric vehicles (by the government with a BS cover story of supply chain disruptions) - we have been led to believe that all these other manufacturers are chasing TSLA's success - oh we need to go electric too - NO - what is happening is the governments are FORCING auto makers to go electric to support their new green agenda - You want chips then make electric cars - Even states like NY and Cali are saying that by 2035 no more purchasing ICE vehicles - Socialism is HERE (definition is the government controlling the means of production) - The free market no longer dictates what products will be made - the government does -

Tesla decided to use different chips and rewrote their software for those chips to be compatible.

Glad I bought a Jan 21 120 call last week.

Greg, I follow Tesla very closely. I think the numbers might be just a little too high by a factor of a few thousand! Although they have increased the productivity massively, especially in China, the huge jump is a little too high IMO. My high estimate was 105K deliveries.

Expand full comment

A little…… you know, just a factor of 100 lol.

LOL, that was a big typo, 305k was my estimate

Keeping track of those zeros is the key….. good grief!

I love musks vision, earth is doomed long term and humanity must escape our solar system or “life on earth” is over and will be consumed by our own sun.…….

I love that he hates our criminal federal government and three letter agencies. 100%

The SEC are thecriminals and frauds, not Musk.

That said.

Everything else he says is a veil, wrapped in illusions.

I don’t know what is what regarding Tesla.

He is a smart

I believe TSLA main source of revenue is from carbon credits...but I don't think it is on their balance sheet? Due to COP26 agreements it looks like public companies will have to offset their carbon footprint

Tesla has been profitable without the credist since early 2020.

It’s one year, it could be accounting tricks, it could be real factory floor improvements…..only time will tell.

Getting out of Commiefornia HAS to be good for the balance sheet.

That was his best business decision so far.

Peace!

I think this is what Greg is eluding to, theyve just had to "recall" 50% of cars produced in the last year...some number bumping has been happening I think. Now they can recall to balance the books again. Just a thought...

Didn't they just recall over 400,000 vehicles the other day? I thought that would have sinked the stock but no, it went down couple dollars that day. Musk is another "God" people worship for no reason at all.

Agreed, they recalled almost a 1/2 million cars recently for safety issues. Tesla is cooking the books worse than Toshiba did years back.

Tesla also worries me. They may get away with more because they are a "green" company and the gov has a lot invested in them.

Expand full comment

Havent you notice the negtive bias towartds Tesla from this government?

Expand full comment

That's what they want us to think, but I bet they are buying it up at the same time. Tons of them talk about how they need to regulate big tech also but most of them own it. Most of them in the gov are lil tricksters.

Greg, You are going to have to follow Tesla more in order to understand it. There hasnt been a company like Tesla before, ever.
