How else do you prevent bankruptcy... the debt has to be revalued... The problem is how did these companies become zombies... They were plundered by Private Equity

Yep. All by design...to know the real facts behind all this, research Blackrock...it controls ALL of it...and Trump just bailed it out of total collapse...we almost won...they almost went down...we were almost free...and people still see HIM as a savior? SMH. As long as evil rules here nothing will change...don't fall for illusions.

There is an abundance of Zombie Households across America that generate enough income to cover the interest payments on all of their household debt. Their solution? More credit cards to attempt to survive.

Until we return to constitutional money we can expect things to get worse.

gerkenstein's avatar

Even then... Constitutional money still requires a gross devaluation and or a huge sum of gold to payoff the debt...

There is no clean way out.

The ruling class has to be destroyed. Andrew Jackson and the Southern Oligarchs threw out the banking cartel in the 1830's. The northern oligarchs, banking cartels and railroads, Wall Street, plotted to create the Civil War. (for a number of social and economic reasons that had nothing to do with slave labor). God Bless you guys!

Right on the money. the financial system crashed in the +-2000 era, the FED/ US government bought corporate stocks to keep the system afloat. Black-rock, etc, bought shares of these failing corporations and issued them shares of Black-Rock so they would have something of value on their books. Black Rock was and remains a house of cards, a scam, BS.

Amerikkka is one giant, drug-induced, Zombie apocalypse waiting for the deluge. Starmer, Merz, Macron, Trump all in on sniffing the Soros/Zelensky-provided, white powder.

Ok then, let's talk debt: One of the favorite billionair tricks is borrowing against the stock in their own company Bezos. Zuckwebwerg et al. Obviously this is tax free money so happy days, But, in a major market retracement those margin calls will come and they will be huge. Since the rule is you never meet a margin call with cash they sell you out which pushes the stock price even lower and perhaps generates even more margin calls. It's a death spiral and no one is immune from Reg T.

The fed covers the margin call with bailouts.
