The sad reality is that 70% of the population is not only clueless, but they also bought into the propaganda that borrowing your way through life is the norm.

70% of the population lives paycheck to paycheck, with around $200 for emergencies!!!

They don't have savings, they don't have investments, they certainly don't hold gold or silver. All they have is debt: credit card, personnal loans, mortgage, consumer loans, etc.

When (not if) the excrement will hit the ventilation system, these poor bastards are in for the shock of their lives. Most of them think that with a financial reset all their debts will be erased. They never bothered to Google 1929, they prefer to memorize hockey stats instead...

This is NOT 1929. No orderly soup queues in 2025. The shock will quickly turn to anger, not at those who inflicted the pain (too dumb for that) but at anyone who appears 'better off'. Take care.

Well, they can line up to get free insect patties, I guess...

Of course, since they are already looting grocery stores, it won't be pretty.

I wonder if their anger will shift towards government employees with their bloated salaries, princely benefits & golden pensions...paid for by the taxpayer.

With all due respect. Some of your listeners are older than you sir. I am 70, so the daddy part isn't necessary. I have been learning a lot, but I am just a little peon in the market moneywise.

Think about this or a nanosecond: Your main goal, as a Central Bank, is to connive with the governments to ''inflate'' the currency by a minimum of 2% per year...and they're not even hiding that fact.

So, unless you, as a Central banker, are a complete moron, you will have figured out that, at a certian point in time, you will have diluted the purchasing power of the fiat toilet paper so much, that it'll be close to worthless.

BUT, you also will have figured out that you can issue toilet paper & buy physical commodities with it (gold & silver). Not only that, but you have your team of hyena traders that will artificially suppress the value of said commodities, by spoofing trades, so you can buy more of it while the rest of the population gets swindled...all done with the express benediction of the mafia boss = the govmint.

NOW do you understand what they mean when these psychos tell you that you will own nothing & somehow be happy??

Hi Greg, for 2 years I've been trying to convince my better half to move our money from B of A which we have used for decades. She is now agreeable but I'm having a very difficult time finding a sound/stable bank I have confidence in to move our money to. We currently have another account with a credit union which we plan to keep. Might you have a recommendation for a sound/stable bank given these ominous times we live? Your opinion is greatly appreciated Thank you!

A Credit Union.

OK thank you Greg, since we already have a credit union account maybe we do another credit union just to diversify a bit between institutions. Much appreciated!

You might want to consider state-chartered banks. At least some of them are sound, well-regulated, and customer friendly.
