IMO... If you understand a trend by careful observation, it does take a lot of the guesswork out of trying to speculate on what the most likely outcome will be. This is how empires are built, successful companies, etc.
The US Government knows that it's failing and therefore acts in desperation to shore up that problem by gaslighting us with psychological warfare, increasing its spying on everyone, and engaging in perpetual military conflict. May the evil empire's tactics hasten its demise.
The author of that article, Nafeez Ahmed is really good- years ago, I read his book, The War on Freedom when I was waking up to 9/11. His book woke me up to the fact that all of the so-called terrorism goes back to the intelligence agencies.
