Hi Greg. please help me get an understanding of the big picture here. I agreed to work for a paycheck that is a debt note to the bank. The bank then takes my deposit (loan) and rehypothicates it into oblivion. The bank deposits are FDIC insured up to 250,000. But as I understand it, the FDIC is only able to cover about 1% of the total deposits. So when the bank fails... does the FDIC then get the FED to print more money and in turn, the FDIC gets paid from the government to repay the banks to cover the deposits? If so, wouldn't that be the citizens repaying themselves? We know that printing money causes inflation, and inflation is the hidden tax? And when the bank finally repays the depositors back, won't the money be worth less value? Am I understanding this correctly? If so I think it best that I seek a bullion depository and fast.
