The Great Robbery.

1933 the Fed decided it would be illegal for private citizens to own gold. So they stole everything. Can they do it again?

https://mises.org/mises-daily/great-gold-robbery-1933

1923, they (fed) built the world largest bank (in size) in New York, coincidence?

David Webb discuss this and much more about the world banks endgame in his FREE e-book

Yup, all stocks, bonds, certificates, and constructs of the system will vanish without recourse. You will own nothing because they will steal everything.

Only idiots turned in their gold for worthless paper just to watch the gubmint revalue it from $20 to $35 overnight which was a 75% LOSS for the paper bagholders.

A lot more distrust in gubmint these days.

Maybe you are right, I have heard they threatened ppl with prison and insane fees if they would caught you, so out of fear many ppl turned it in.

But only second hand info, I didn't live back then

That's why they want the cash to be gone because they have total control of what your are purchasing....

Expand full comment
Magnus Ericsson's avatar

Well, back then they didn't have your transaction history on your bank account.

Today, they could easily access your bank account and transaxtion history, and everyone who has been purchasing any gold/silver for last 5 years (or whatever) might end up with authorities in their home with search warrant....

I was all for cryptos when it was 'advertised' as decentralized currency - private - sound/stable/blockchain tech. But tracking/tracing/bio-signature surveilance reared-its-ugly-head. People will know why physical holders smirked at the system - derivitive metal - stupid suckers sucking the ponzi pole.

Also, the gold “confiscation” was voluntary, and legally you could own up to 5 oz. of gold. The confiscation was “voluntary” in the sense that if the government didn’t know you owned it, you could simply sit it out.

The problem with that, was that convertibility and the selling of gold was prohibited for the next 40 years, which is more than a generation. THAT would be the worst, next to a 90% tax on its sale.

Expand full comment
Magnus Ericsson's avatar

Well, I wouldn't say voluntary, the sentence was high. Fees and prison.

Yes - and even if you kept it secret, it was worthless during that time, you couldnt go and by a house with that gold coin, then you would be criminally charged.

Magnus Ericsson's avatar

It was something like 10'000$ (can't remember exactly) in penalty fees if they caught you with gold. Imagine that value today..

There was a man in my city in the early 70s who told neighbors that he had at least a dozen 400 troy oz. gold bars. One of those neighbors was a rat, so the Feds came out and took those bars from the man's garage. There was a small article in the newspaper about it when that happened. If only the man had kept quiet about his gold for another year or two, he would've been okay because President Ford signed the Gold Reserve Act of 1974 that became effective on 31 DEC 74. I don't know if the man suffered any other penalties beyond the theft of his gold.

Greg did you know basically every country prepared a digital currency during the pandemic years?

Google "digital currency" and any of the following countries US/England/EU/China/Russia/Japan/Brazil/Sweden/South Africa/Jamaica

- they did ALL launch their starting up project for digital currency during the years 2020-2023....

Regardless of what the overall market does...skyrocket, trade sideways, correct or crash....the one truth is that a 50 bps rate cut right off the bat of a FED pivot is massively inflationary. Every time the FED has cut rates, the market rally's for one month before going into a correction, which is why I am cautious here.

I can however say with 99% certainty that with inflation moving much higher from here, that the meme stock will start getting more attention. The meme stock movement was meant to fight hedge funds and institutions that used illegal practices to drive businesses into the ground. In my opinion, with where inflation is going, the meme stock rally's moving forward will be utilized as a mechanism for retail to combat rising inflation...more than just a cause, but a way to protect people's wealth.

Will we see this happen this year? Next Year?! I don't know. But in the next three years the people will be feeling the pain of this unprecedented rate cut cycle, and I will be slowly buying Gamestop as a hedge for when the people have had enough.

Greg. (22Sep2024) You are using a left-brain form of logic to make your conclusions. To limit yourself to that form of logic defies the fact that other realms of energy also work in our third dimension reality. There are other outcomes and possibilities, which are very probable at this time. POINT: Limited thinking begets limited conclusions. FACT: The Fed is NOT the only game in town. My own research has documented evidence to support that fact….. Much love. R.E. Sutherland, M.Ed./sciences
