Dude, where are the pictures of your transporter. The big 18 wheeler ya know. With all the sponsor logos. But my real question is: How many Pharaohs does it take to rebuild a small block chevy in 30 minutes or less?

Hi Gregory. I would like to make a one time donation but have canceled my PayPal account. I will not use them again. I’ve looked on your website for another way to pay but don’t see one. I watch you every day and heard your statement on PayPal but maybe you could mention any other payment options available.

Can you explain what it means that central banks are buying all the debt. Does that mean they are buying the treasury bonds? This confuses me. Thank you.

Thank you, JB, for this excellent resource. Here is my next question, though. When the Fed sells bonds to contract the money supply, which “banks” are buying them - commercial banks or central banks? I follow just a couple of people on this matter and I thought Robert Kientz said that the bonds were being purchased by non-banking institutions such as pension funds because the central banks knew they were garbage and were instead buying gold. I wonder if I’m getting mixed up with terms such as commercial vs central banks. I think I need to create a paper flow chart! I really appreciate your responding to my earlier question. Thank you. Greg often mentions that the Fed has a trading desk, so the Fed can sell bonds in the open market. It can also sell bonds directly to banks, which would include commercial banks and foreign central banks. The Fed is powerful enough that it can do whatever it wants.
