Thanks for doing this video in Robin Hood. However I'm trying to use my Fidelity account and it has a lot more options that I don't understand. Has anybody done a video showing the meaning of those other options?
Like what does "Buy to Close" versus "Sell to Open" mean?
His MSFT call was 230, when I looked I saw "strike" prices from 65 to 115. Calls were listed 164 to 115 respectively. I'm not following the meaning. Help!
Hello Chris, I am just learning about options so I apologize about the remedial question. Would you elaborate on how the purchase of the option (1 contract?) was made at 26.60 and sold at 27.95? Was this for the March 19, 2021 $230 calls? What do you use to trade these call options? Thanks for any feedback
Think of the cost of calls out further as an insurance premium. Greg goes with "Full Coverage". you can go with liability though. It's just easier to get burned if things turn south. But on the other hand, your risking less in the first place.
On the bright side, the CSCO and GILD came back. No loss anymore for me. :) KODK is almost sold. Yesterday I made up some of the loss. JNJ is my only laggard. I'll probably just outright buy the company to make up for my 15% loss.
yeah i'm just trying to break even! ugh...i get excited now when i see my red lowering (instead of green increasing!). xle is still my major laggard. i bought more today if i can believe it, still trying to average down.
Any new lions that want to learn how to Option trade with Gregory Mannarino watch the video below!

Thank you Greg for all you do!!
Thank you for the help. Much appreciated 👍.

I might have found an answer to my question... can somebody verify this is correct?
"Buy to Close" means buying the option. "Sell to Open" means selling the option.
"Strike Price" is actual price you can buy that option for if the stock gets there before the date.
Bid/Ask prices are the market rates for the option itself, as those options trade around the market before the ending date of the call.
In @ 26.60 out @27.95 in 20 minutes ... +5% thanks Greg.

In and out with a quick 5.7%
Not gonna get greedy
Great call! It's up 5% in 15 minutes!
Too rich for me, wish I could get in on this one. Goodluck boys
If you just plan to day trade it, take calls that expire in a month. You can pick them up much cheaper if you are going to unload them later today.
That makes sense thanks for the tip!

Dude...just made 25% on 4 SEPT MSFT calls because of you. Thank you so much. I'll donate to GM for you this month :-)
You’re absolutely right
I’m bouncing back in after hitting about 4 percent earlier
i am reducing position sizing for now... something doesnt feel right.
Went back in again. 26.70 to 27.20. Just wanted to make up some of the difference I missed out on for selling a bit too early.
this market is dog doo!

Got in and out. Bought them at 26.60 sold at 27.53 (should have been higher, but I disgraced Greg and sold with a market order) Thank you sir!
Thanks Greg, checking it out now.

Lions are we day trading MSFT
Haha we are trading the market we have I guess. Today, I guess we are haha
In and out round 2 for another 4 percent
I loved doing that. I wish I still had time like some of you. Good job!
Though I could do it with auto limits. I just don't like to buy on auto. Might look into algorithms.
Yeah I don’t either. Thanks for the encouragement!
