3 wrong trades in a row Greg

It sucks to lose on a trade but don’t bite the hand that feeds you. Not Greg’s fault, he’s doing is a tremendous service 🦁

Hi Greg, Saw some negative comments. However, I would like to say "Thank you" for your sharing your view on the market. Appreciate your work. Please ignore those unhelpful comments.

Funny how they get loud when it goes against him...dont hear them after 100+% returns. They prob dont have any skin in the game, same trolls in here as always

I fully agree. As a newbie, if I won it's by luck. Not easy to win on a regular basis.

I think Greg follows Trends and that's what works in the long run.

You're sure it's not a put we should buy ?!

Hahah.. you got that.

I miss the old stock calls. I was able to spread my capital out rather than only trading spy.

I agree, his win rate was incredible to. Hopefully he goes back soon

And.. its dead.. hahahah.. shred this market? Shredded those gains

Third trade in a row is another loss. Weeks worth of gains get wiped out pretty quick with trades like this. Does anyone talk about risk management with this strategy? Price moves fast.

This trade went straight down.

I couldn't get in because Schwab had a major technical difficulty with their system that lasted around 50 minutes from the opening bell. They weren't even taking calls or doing chat when the problem was occurring.

You got lucky

Expand full comment

Yes, it looks that way so far.

Last week, I didn't enter the trades that Greg lost on because I had a gut feeling that market wasn't quite right.

Expand full comment

Yes. I experienced the same thing. I wanted to sell while I was up. No biggie.

I think it was good and a big thing that it kept me from buying calls to open. Schwab needs to get their act together. Having some technical problem for nearly an hour is too long. At least it turned out good for me this time.

I used eTrade as well. Their Power eTrade rocks! Uses real-time data. No need to refresh the screen. I highly recommend it. I haven't used Schwab's StreetSmart Edge. Not sure if it's a similar platform.

Expand full comment

Thanks for the suggestion. I just don't like having so many accounts to have to handle the paperwork for. Maybe eTrade has charts of actual options prices instead of just the underlying. That's a feature I really wish StreetSmartEdge had. I don't have to refresh any screens. StreetSmartEdge and ThinkorSwim are the two that I use, and both are real time.

OK, then you should be good w/ ToS. Haven't used it yet but looking forward to it.

It's complex. Expect a long learning curve.

Greg was silent after he posted the trade. Is he still holding and averaging down. I know each trade we take is our own responsibility. I should have followed my gut the 15 min chart screamed closing the GAP and some. Oh well live and learn - not wise to blindly follow other traders over the cliff LOL

Thanks for all your work.

Last week I held SPY calls through the downward pressure and I averaged down well. Closed all contracts with a nice profit this morning

Same here

Yup, I also usually wait a bit on greg's calls, if it pumps i miss it. If it goes against him i get in at lower price. If goes against me thereafter, i add to the position like greg does. only 1 realized loss thus far after dozens of trades. I'll keep winning while trolls and bears keep crying....some are in this thread.
