Bought +1 SLV220121C48

Interesting - I've been staying away from SLV as it is so manipulated. Any idea on how high this went when the price went to 28? Might be an easy play to buy when they manipulate the price up and then down?

[my] target is silver 35usd. think we will see it this year.

Any idea on how high what went?

The price history of this option over the last couple weeks before Silver got slammed.

It's been going down for a couple of weeks yes. I waited until today to buy just one option. If price goes down two more points I'll buy another two or three calls. Yes, it's manipulated, but they can't manipulate it forever. I can keep throwing money into SLV calls longer than they can manipulate the price. I'm GUARANTEED to win.

They keep printing money so the price of gold and silver are going to go up regardless. They simply can't stop the beast. They know the leash is going to come off sooner or later.

Greg said Buy MCD. Some are buying the stock, some are buying Puts, some are buying Calls, some are buying big mac with fries. All of them are thinking that they are following Greg. Calling TrumpHell666 to to the recue.

Hey WaveRider! Well, I gotta point them back to Greg because his instructions were crystal clear. Now I don't know if there are any "assignment" risks involved, but if there are they should be enumerated quite clearly. Selling Puts sounds great...let somebody else deal with killer theta riding them on their backs. But is there any assignment risk? There's no assignment risk with the SPX because it's an index option.

This question is for anyone who knows how to sell Puts: Is there any risk to selling Puts in SPX besides losing your premium?

Expand full comment

There is risk because when the market drops it usually drops fast. By buying puts you are shouldering the risk of others for pennies. Does not appeal to me. I usually stay in cash and prefer buying calls with 1% of my money on the day when many are whining. I keep some SILJ for the long term.

Yeah, that's one hell of good point. When price drops, it drops fast and you might not be able to get out. I've done that before...trying to get out of a waterfall using limit orders. LOL. You know how that worked out. First, I simply couldn't get out so I kept lowering the price on my limit orders to no avail. Then there was only one last option...Market Order...and you know how THAT turned out. I got raped. Got next to nothing for the option in order to get out, but at least I got out. Heheheheeeee!

Greg said MCD was a buy @$236 on June 11th too. If you followed that advice you'd be losing money now. Self proclaimed robin hood of wall street strikes out again

Expand full comment

Greg, what exactly is the buy advice on mcd? Be less vague,, are you buying a put are you buying a regular stock purchase? We need you to get to the nitty on your exact suggestion

Expand full comment

You should probably do whatever the opposite Greg says. In this scenario buy puts

Actually, I have been doing this for months. My biggest trade was his BABA recommendation to go long.

That deep level of thinking and analysis is dangerous Donna.

He clearly said Buy MCD. It means he expects MCD to go up. You can buy stock, sell put or buy call.

MCD suggestion to buy at 10:08am and a HIGH/SELL marker hit at 10:15am, so if I were interested in this I would most likely buy PUTS, or wait for the stock price to fall back to a LOW/BUY marker to buy CALLS. I think this vagueness is on purpose, but it used to not be that way last year, so wonder why everything changed???
