mine has only dropped about 4-5% on both. maybe around 9 or 10%. otherwise buying another option won't average the price down far enough. I learned that lesson and then when you have a ton of options and the price drops another 10% then you have to buy a ton of options just to put a dent in the average price. I dont know if that makes sense. I am not very articulate
I tend to do the math first. If buying one more option to average down only averages my option price down by .25 then its not worth risking the money. Of course it depends on the price of the option and how volatile the market is.
Had sold DIS for profit ytdy, just got back in. Put an order in for SBUX, already moved up from where I wanted it. I'll let my SBUX order work a bit.
