But the other part of me says that the Dems are so good at playing the long game that they actually realize losing the house by a small margin will be helpful in the long run. It sounds counterintuitive but losing the House will allow them to claim the following:
1. After inheriting an economy that had already gone south, Bidan brought the country out of recession after two quarters.
2. Then after losing the House they will blame the new GOP House for everything bad that happens over the next two years, including a worse recession.
3. The justice dept will continue to target MAGA and a GOP House cannot stop that.
4. They will indict Trump.
5. They will use the horrible economy, housing market bust, massive inflation etc. to run the narrative that only a return to a Dem controlled house and a Dem President (Newsom) can fix what the GOP screwed up.
None of this will be true. But the media will provide the cover and if I were a Dem strategist this is how I would play the game. Why take the blame through massive cheating to retain the house, thereby guaranteeing a loss of the WH in 2024. In order to continue on their destructive path they MUST keep the WH.
We might know soon. Or we might not. As Greg would say, let’s see how it plays out.
I'm at the point now where I view politics of left and right as a show for the masses, its just bread and circus both sides are in on the human enslavement , as Greg said if your vote actually counted you wouldnt be allowed to vote.
