Go direct. Purchase thru treasury. Suggest staying short term. Keep rolling earnings forward to take advantage of compounding interest. Or open a brokerage account that allows you to purchase treasuries. Same strategy. Stay short and roll and compound the interest.

I find it easier to use inverse etf than to short a long strategy etf.

I do not, just straight up postion in the inverse etf. Options on a leveraged ETF is a recipe for quick capital destruction if your thesis or even timing of entering a postion is wrong.

Said it before. Stay away from ETFs of any kind. Dave Wood's comment is very sensible, but I prefer physical commodities that I control.
