There are 5 USD dollars set. But the amount cannot be changed. So, for example, I can't put in 10 euros or 60 USD (12 months) or whatever. So I could transfer only 5 USD.
According to the company, the main purpose of the pricing is to be simple, transparent and easy to calculate. Card payments are subject to the following fees:
for European cards: 1.4% plus 0.25 euros
for non-European cards: 2.5 % plus 0.25 euros
To do the math:
5 USD - 1.4% = 4.93 USD - 0.25 EUR/USD = 4.68 USD
What do you get? 5.00 USD or 4.68 USD?
0.25 EUR fees are not much. But as a trader I always calculate in percent. And 0.25 EUR is still 5% fees for only 5 EUR/USD. (plus 1.4% fixed fees). That is very expensive.
CONCLUSION: It would be better if the amount of 5 USD could be changed individually.

Greg, PLEASE go look at the web site called Wall Street on Parade, authored by P and Russ Martins. They have a fascinating article on there today about some important public court documents of an extremely sensitive nature concerning the Sam Bankman-Fried trial. They explain how the documents, which contain some highly embarrassing and incriminating information, went “missing” from the public record and how they subsequently obtained them. A link to said documents is included within the article.
I think you would find these documents extremely interesting, and your audience would find your take on them well worth hearing.
Yep! Go ahead and read the whole thing, it’s pretty fascinating. Then share. It’s public info. Then keep a copy in your email so you can let it out again in the social media in case the legal system has a hard time remembering where it put the info. You’ll be doing a service to society by making it handy so it can be used appropriately.
Interesting. I clicked on the link to the Way Back archive last night and then again this morning, and all I get is an error message! Are they blocking it? Or just something wrong with my connection? Either way, thanks for thinking of that, check it out yourself to see if it’s the site or just me, and keep a copy privately. Then just keep floating it put there so they have to keep chasing it and it never goes away.
Thank you for setting up Stripe!! I just sent $5. I wish I could send more because you’re worth it!!
All the best,
Joe Bitonto

Finally...lol
Thanks…support on the way! I wish our politicians would follow your lead…LISTEN TO THE PEEPS!
Done. JEPI only had $0.44 this month for a dividend. Is there reason for concern or just standard fluctuation?
Great! Thanks, Bet you get a big pay-in soon :)
Agree with earlier post...can the amount sent be adjusted by the sender? $5 is a pretty tight range.
You people had better start reacting a LOT faster than you do.... otherwise you people are TOAST.
