Me, too. Those losses he took last week could have been gains had he held a little longer. The expiration dates were so far out that there was no need to get in a hurry to close the trades.
I think he doesn't want to get stuck holding this stuff too long for fear of someone getting a bad reaction to this vaccine. One person starts foaming at the mouth on national TV is gonna be a game changer for sure.
I don't see it that way because he always jumps right back in with another trade. My thinking is that he wants to have an occasional loss so that he stays off the radar of government goons looking for insider trading. If someone never loses at trading, it looks suspicious from a statistical viewpoint.
Today I opened a short position on DAX30 @ 13255. No good idea. Now its @ 13400. So what I have to do? Say I invested 1000 Euro . So I have to wait for DAX30 @ 13480, add 2000 Euro to the short and sell @ 13320 with a small profit or +/-0. That sucks.
What you need to do is average down. When you get into a position and it moves against you, that's when you need to buy at the dip. The goal is to lower the cost of your initial position by buying cheaper options. be sure to keep some dry powder for those situations when your position doesn't work out the way you wanted to.
I received his email yesterday morning around 9:45am. I'm just guessing since he bought those big dips yesterday, that's how he came out ahead already today.
Thanks Greg. Closed out my Long Calls for winners. Also had some left over put credit spreads that I closed too.. TraderDad.
i think he occasionally takes losses on purpose...

Thanks Greg, RIPPING & SHREDDING!!!
Is it better to keep crypto in the account with the intention to grow it or cash out for a profit daily or weekly basis? Appreciate any feedback!
Crypto could pop massive at any moment. Just hold. Too hard to trade anyway.
I really hate these days. Half an hour down and than up up up up up till closing. And why? To earn the end of the year-bonus. Criminals!

I bought about 30 minutes after GM sent the email yesterday morning and I'm still down -5% :(

Oh I completely understand but Greg is generally extremely good at telling us when he is buying the dips. This time he did not send out a message.
Ya Greg didn't post he was adding! I only added this morning after watching his video.
i think you just have to assume you add when it falls like that. do what you need to and don't wait for the orders.
